Lord Rudra has sovereignty over Ardra

The nakshatra of Ardra is ruled by Lord Rudra. He is popularly known as Lord Shiva. He's the destroyer of the creation and so he initiates the first step towards a new cycle of creation. Rudra translates to the one who roars and his ominous wail is compared to the blast of lightning. In his Rudra form, he is wrathful, fierce, violent, and he is feared by the Gods. He is the mightiest of the mighty. He puts an end to all things evil. We experience his wrath in the form of thunderstorms, cyclones, earthquakes, wildfires, demolition by war missiles, or pandemics.
