He's the protector of all the Gods, who consider him to be their King. Lord Indra is a benevolent King, he shares his bounty liberally with the people of his kingdom. He genuinely cares for the one's less privileged. He's worshipped for food, rain, health, livelihood, prosperity, protection, and progeny ( progeny (he's the God of fertility). He's known for his physical strength. However, it must not overshadow his mental prowess. He has a piercing mind, he is well-versed is with ancient and occult sciences, and is an expert in creating illusions to fool his enemies.
Jyestha’s main symbol is a talisman, which is worn by Lord Indra. It is said that he taught the sages the science of Ayurveda. He has a buffed body, brawny arms, strong limbs, and is mature looking.
The native would achieve extraordinary things in life, would fight challenges in life with great fortitude, would honor one's word, and would not shy away from responsibilities. The Jyestha native would occupy the senior-most position in the society (Recall, Lord Indra is the eldest son of Goddess Aditi & Sage Kashyapa). So a high-ranking government officer, an entrepreneur/business leader, a military commander, a politician, a union leader, a sportsperson, a community leader, etc. are seen from Jyestha. The native would be driven by the materialistic pleasures of life. One could even resort to using drugs given the mythology of Lord Indra's overreliance on Soma (nectar of immortality). Lord Indra has been depicted to be a victim of ego. And so, the native, blinded by success, would fail to acknowledge the contribution of others to one's success. The native may fall prey to envy, may misuse one’s authority, and turn vindictive.
